Changelog

What shipped in Poko Motion. Newest version first.

Version 0.4.6

What's new

Since the late-September release. This is the desktop app.

Make a video from a template

The dashboard has a Templates gallery. Pick a finished motion video and Poko rebuilds that look with your own product, words, and brand. The story and length can change. The motion stays with the template: how fast things move, how long each move lasts, and where it cuts or holds.

Music ducks under the voice

Background music now lowers while the narration is speaking and comes back up in the pauses, the intro, and the ending. This is on by default. Turn it off in Settings → Studio, under "Add background music." The switch is labeled "Lower music while the voice speaks."

Undo, redo, and earlier versions

Each time the agent finishes a change, that turn is saved. In the chat bar you can undo the last turn, redo it, or open the clock menu and restore an older version. The preview reloads after you go back. These controls stay off while the agent is still working.

Cleaner, faster exports

Exports are a bit faster, and the audio no longer clips when it gets loud. Text that sits on top of other text is laid out so the words stay readable.

Stronger product launch films

Videos made as a SaaS or product launch ad now follow a clearer studio style: a real idea for that product, a consistent visual world, and a beginning and ending that belong together, instead of a generic motion ad.

Version 0.4.3

What's new

Better motion videos by default

Poko now uses dedicated creative workflows for motion ads, product walkthroughs, research explainers, and SaaS launch films. Each workflow has its own pacing, composition, camera, transition, and storytelling guidance for more consistent results.

New SaaS motion ad workflow

Choose SaaS motion ad when creating a project to produce a polished 40–45 second launch film focused on product workflows, cinematic UI, connected transitions, and clear outcomes.

Stronger visual direction

The agent now draws from a larger library of production references and motion systems. This improves scene continuity, UI choreography, camera movement, typography, product fidelity, and transitions between story beats.

New AI models

GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna are now available through Codex, alongside Claude Opus 5.5. GPT-6 Sol is the new default Codex model for both Poko Credits and bring-your-own-key projects.

Poko Pulse and Poko Flow can also run through Codex with reasoning support.

More reliable project workflows

Poko now loads only the creative workflow needed for the selected video style. Switching styles or reopening a project no longer carries incompatible workflow instructions into the next generation.

Generation workers, follow-up edits, source capture, and skill setup have also been made more consistent.

Version 0.4.2

What's new

Paste or drop files into chat

Paste images and documents directly into the Studio chat, or drag and drop files and folders anywhere over the chat panel. They appear as attachments and are available to the agent just like files selected with the attachment picker.

Easier context selection

The @ context menu is now easier to browse and select from, with larger items, visible scrolling, file paths, and support for adding multiple references without reopening it.

More reliable follow-ups

Agent runs now recover more reliably after stopping, switching models, or encountering temporary model availability issues. Follow-up messages keep the previous work and continue from where the agent left off.

Work across projects

Running work in one project no longer locks the model controls in another project or chat. Plans that support multiple agents can continue working across projects at the same time.

Fresh background music

Background music now uses an improved generator and a fresh variation for each request.
